Here at acornhomes we take a unique approach to sustainability and environmental responsibility! We feel that it's an incredibly important issue and one that we should all be taking very seriously, however we also believe that if sustainable homes are to become mainstream, then they have to be practical and user friendly.
Sustainable Development
We believe that sustainable technologies should be ingrained in the very fabric of every new building, but they should be subtle and inconspicuous and should function seamlessly through interfaces that the user is already familiar with! Turn on a switch and you have light, turn on a tap and you have hot water, turn up a thermostat and you have heat - its the same as a conventional building, just a little better!
